Summer brings many international English language students to Malaysia and a popular choice is the EMS Language Centre in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. Located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the world-renowned KLCC and Petronas Twin Towers, EMS offers the popular Summer Camp that has, for many years, attracted students from countries such as Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Japan, China, Korea, Iran, Bahrain, Libya, Algeria and Mauritania. 

As in previous years, the EMS Summer Camp 2024 offers you an opportunity to learn English in a highly international environment. This is a great opportunity to learn English in a very fun, interactive and simple way and make friends with students from all over the world!

Lessons are being taught by a team of highly qualified and experienced native and non-native speaking teachers. Learning and practicing a range of skills including, speaking, reading, writing and listening, you will also be engaging in a number of exciting activities outside the classroom, exploring parts of Malaysia and taking part in numerous adventurous trips and sports.

    For the EMS Summer Camp in 2024, EMS Language Centre will have 3 different intakes (June, July, and August 2024). Students are strictly required to register for the EMS Summer Camp 15 days before their desired arrival time to Malaysia.

    • Four hours a day class time from Monday to Friday for a period of one month

    EMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    EMS Language Centre offers the most basic and general terms and conditions in order to ensure the safety and well-being of each and every student throughout their program in the summer of 2024. Please read these terms carefully and follow them exactly as written. For further information, you can always contact your EMS Language Centre representative.

    • Every student under 12 needs the presence of guardians. Guardians will have to accompany their kids on trips and activities, so they need to apply for any trips in which they will participate. EMS Language Centre will not be able to accept any responsibility for children.
    • The down payment for each program is compulsory and will not be refunded if the student cancels or changes programs after registration.
    • Every student has to confirm their package and register at least 1 month before the start date.
    • Langkawi trip has limited air tickets, (80 seats per month) and is on a first come first serve basis. For those who register after the seat is full, they will have no trips for the weekend. In case of cancellation, 800 MYR will be deducted from the total price.
    • Students are advised to send their flight tickets at least 2 weeks in advance to enable us to arrange their accommodation check-in and airport pick-up. Check-in time for the accommodation is from 8 am to 9 pm.
    • All students will receive a certificate of completion.
    • Any students below 18 years old must provide the consent form from their parents or legal guardians before traveling to Malaysia, or they have to be accompanied by a guardian.

    FAQs

    No, Summer Camp is considered educational tourism.

    Young English learners are accepted and attend the Kids class. This for those aged between 7 to 15 years old. Students aged 15 years and above attend the adult class. There is no age limit for the Summer Camp.

    Insurance is optional. The school can provide full insurance at extra cost.

    EMS does not recommend children below the age of 15 to travel unaccompanied, but if parents want their children to attend the Summer Camp, we advise that they appoint a guardian in Malaysia to assist the8r children while they study here. Please also check with relevant airlines regarding travel for children below. Different airlines have their own policies and requirements.
